WSU Programs

As of July 1, 2007, four Wayne State University medical programs have received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME): Dermatology, Family Medicine, Otolaryngology, and Urology. There are currently 57 residents in training in the four programs, and growing. Graduate Medical Education is committed to improving the health of the population served by providing opportunities that attend to the educational, administrative, financial, emotional, and accreditation needs of the GME trainee.

The four accredited programs are affiliated with the following hospitals: Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, Crittenton Hospital Medical Center, Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center, John D. Dingell VA Medical Center.
