Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a confidential location for employees and their families to receive assistance with personal matters. You can contact the EAP 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by simply calling one toll-free number, 1-800-852-0357.

The Employee Assistance Program provides professional counseling, education, and referral services to you and your family members.

EAP can help you with a variety of issues:

  • marital and family problems
  • child or adult care issues
  • alcohol and/or drug abuse
  • balancing work and family
  • depression and anxiety
  • work-related concerns
  • financial or legal problems
  • career transition issues
  • personal growth and development

WSU Pipeline Access, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is WSU Pipeline?
WSU Pipeline is your tool to access WSU online services. Use it to check your pay stub, view your vacation banks, view your W-4 and W-2 forms, sign up for training classes, fill out your timesheet, and much more! Think of it as a one-stop shop: once you log into Pipeline, you have access to all that with no need to log in to those sites.

How do I log in to Pipeline?
Pipeline is on the Web at pipeline.wayne.edu, use your WSU AccessID and password to log in.

For help with your AccessID or password, call the Computing & Information Technology (C&IT) Help Desk at 313-577-4778, weekdays (8 a.m.– 8 p.m., Fall and Winter; 8 a.m.– 6 p.m. Spring/Summer).

How do I access my e-mail?
In Pipeline click the e-mail icon in the upper right corner. You will already be logged in to WebMail and your e-mail account.

How do I check my employee information in Pipeline?
In Pipeline click the Employee tab and then the Employee Self-Service section located on the left side of the page. The most common links, including Pay Stub, Leave Balances, and Time Sheet, are listed in that section. For other links, click the ...More Employee Services link.

Who do I contact if I have a problem accessing or using Pipeline?
If you need help with your AccessID or password or if you are having a problem with Pipeline, call the C&IT Help Desk at (313) 577-4778, weekdays (8 a.m.–8 p.m., Fall and Winter; 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Spring/Summer) or send e-mail to helpdesk@wayne.edu.


Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center

The Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center is a great way for Residents to get fit mentally and physically. To access the center residents need a OneCard. Visit the center's Web site for answers to all your questions about using the facility.


WSU OneCard

Who can get a OneCard?
Wayne State University full-time and part-time students, faculty, staff and alumni can get a OneCard. Visit the OneCard Office Web site for more information.

Where do I get my OneCard?
The OneCard/Parking Service Center is located in the Welcome Center, 42 W. Warren Avenue, Suite 257. Please call (313) 577-CARD for more information. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

When can I get a OneCard?
Wayne State University students can get a OneCard once they have registered for classes. Faculty and staff can obtain a OneCard once they are hired and WSU alumni can get a OneCard once they join the Wayne State University Alumni Association.

What do I bring to get my OneCard?
Please bring photo identification with you. A valid driver’s license or passport are acceptable forms of photo identification.

What if my OneCard is lost?
If your OneCard is lost, go to pipeline.wayne.edu immediately and deactivate your OneCard. If you cannot get online, call the OneCard/Parking Service Center at (313) 577-CARD during business hours and a representative will deactivate your card. To get a replacement OneCard, you will need to fill out a Replacement Form and return it to the OneCard/Parking Service Center and a new OneCard will be issued to you for a $10 fee.

What if my OneCard is stolen?
If your OneCard is stolen go to Pipeline immediately and deactivate your OneCard. If you cannot get online, call the OneCard/Parking Service Center at (313) 577-CARD during business hours and a representative will deactivate your OneCard. If it is after regular business hours, please contact Wayne State University Public Safety at (313) 577-2224. To get a replacement OneCard, you will need to fill out a Replacement Form and return it to the OneCard/Parking Service Center. Please note that you must supply a police report number in order for the OneCard office to waive the $10 replacement fee.

Is there a fee for my one OneCard?
No, there is no fee for your first OneCard. However, if you lose your OneCard, a replacement fee of $10 will be charged to obtain a new OneCard.

What if I do not like the picture on my OneCard?
We will be more than happy to take another picture for you, but please note that you will be charged the $10 replacement fee.
