Future Residents
Medical residents in the Wayne State University Graduate Medical Education Program have built strong ties with the city of Detroit and surrounding communities. WSU has the only medical school in Detroit, and has a mission to to provide first-rate medical education while leading the field through research and patient care.
Goals of GME
"Graduate Medical Education, as a service office to the Wayne State University sponsored programs and administrative arm of the Graduate Medical Education Council jointly sponsored programs, is committed to improving the health of the population served by providing opportunities that attends to the educational, administrative, financial, emotional, and accreditation need of the Graduate Medical Education Trainee."
